These are chosen pictures taken from my debut last May 13, 2000, at Club Filipino. Actually, my birthday's on April 27 but I celebrated it weeks later for some reasons. I never actually intended to have a debut party like most people who prepare for their 18th birthday years ahead. Especially since I'm not the type who would throw one (I seldom wear a skirt or a dress, I don't dance at all and I'm an introvert). Surprisingly, it turned out ok and I had fun, despite the fact that a lot of my humiliating pictures were shown for all of my friends to see in the video thingie my parents made for me. On a more positive note, I didn't trip in my 2-inch sandals as anticipated. I took pleasure in parading in front of everyone in a big Cinderella-type gown. Where was Prince Charming, I wonder..
