| Lanette Hightower aka The Artzy 1 is an award winning artist. She has received many blue ribbons at the California State Fair for pencil, pen & ink, and acrylic works. Lanette's Artwork has been displayed at the California State Capital, the Crocker Art Museum, stores across California and featured in various private viewings. | Lanette is a freelance Artist and Art Instructor. In 2002 she was selected to participate in Elks on Parade a comunity Art Project. Her Elk was on display at Backscratchers Salon Systems Inc. Her Elk was featured on the local news on NBC, ABC, FOX, and WB. As well as in the local newspapers The Sacramento Bee, & Elk Grove Citizen. "Elk Capiton" as it has been named features all California animals and El Capiton from the Yosemity National Forest.
