LanChester OPRC is a NEW chapter of the Old People's Riding Club.  Members include people from Lancaster and Chester Counties in Pennsylvania.  Our purpose is to make new friends and have fun safely while sharing our knowledge of horse care and activities.  Our emphasis is on education and improving riding ability in a safe and supportive environment.  Mounted events are geared toward enjoyment and safety.  Horse ownership optional, just a love for horses and equestrian activities.

Our membership dues are $35 for the 2007 calendar year. Family dues package also available.   We welcome new members.  Please contact us if you are interested in joining.

Old People's Riding Club is for adults 21 years and older from all disciplines.  It was founded in 1998 in Maryland and has chapters in 25 states plus Canada.  The primary mission of the club is to promote and provide safe, fun equestrian activities.  We follow the educational program of the United States Pony Club.

Our meetings are held at Watergap Equestrian Center, South Forty or local restaurant each month.  Exact time and place are announced at  http://p103.ezboard.com/blanchesterhorse in LanChester OPRC forum..  The meetings have a speaker or activity each month.  We also try to plan another social activity at different times each month.

WaterGap Equestrian Center in Christiana, & South Forty in Coatesville, PA ,  are the host sites for our mounted activities.
