Lakeside Gallery is located on Taunton Lake in Newtown, Connecticut, about 60 miles northeast of New York City.  The gallery is the domain of artist Patricia (Pat) Barkman who has been painting landscapes and florals in watercolors, oils and pastels for several years here.  Pat draws much of her inspiration for landscapes from frequent hiking trips with husband Leon and friends to all parts of the country.  Pat has over 200 smaller paintings of florals, of Taunton Lake, of Newtown's Main Street, of the White Mountains, the Adirondack Mountains, and the Rockies.  

The gallery is open by appointment and for a weekend show in June.
