Great News!! In year 2005, STTSS celebrates her 40th anniversary; and our STTSS Sunflower Choir reaches the milestone of 20th Anniversary since the establishment of this club in the year 1985. Beside, the Alumni Choir enters the 3rd year as the first Alumni Club to help along with the School Choir since 2002. We welcome you all, no matter you are STTSS student/alumni or not, to join the Alumni Choir for fun every Sunday week 4 pm - 6 pm at STTSS Co-Curriculum Activity (CCA) Building (401 Music Room), practising for choir.
好消息！！ 為了慶祝沙巴崇正中學建校四十週年， 校方會在 2005 年呈獻一系列的活動。 而本社已在一月三十日晚上呈獻了第一炮活動，廿週年演唱會。本學校合唱團成立於 1985 年至今；而校友合唱團則由一批熱愛歌唱的校友們成立於 2002 年，也是本校第一支由校友會承認的團體。除了歡迎各位購票欣賞本社的演出，我們也歡迎大家 (無論是否本校學生、校友) 來參于校友合唱團的實習練唱 （逢星期日下午四時至六時在本校 活動大樓，401 音樂室）。
News update (last updated : 03 Feb 2005):
(1) Thank you for all of you who joined us during our anniversary concert in Yayasan Sabah, making it a wonderful & memorable night. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all who took part in this event. We have recorded the most number of audiences (over a thousand!!) jamming in the auditorium that night, making a history for our club. We also like to thank all the newspaper medias in promoting our event.
(2) 20th Anniversary Concert Programme is now available! For preview, our performances of SOLO, DUET, ACCOMPANIST DUET (PIANO, FLUTE), SMALL GROUP and BIG GROUP will be included; songs picked include:
16th Century Madrigals (十六世紀牧歌) - Fair Phyllis I Saw, All Creatures Now
80's, 60's Pops (八十、六十年代流行曲) - Big Girls Don't Cry, Yesterday, Last Chhristmas
Chinese folks (中文民歌) - 刮地風、春風、秋蟬、追尋、問鶯燕、送別
Malay folks(馬來民歌) - Hela Rotan
Jazz Music(爵士音樂) - Irlandaise / Night Flight
Opera & Musical(歌舞劇) - The Pearl Fishers, Le Nozza di Figaro (Mozart), Les Misérables, Ms. Saigon
(3) A grand will be presented on the 30th January (Sunday) 2005. This is the very first event as to celebrate the school 40th Anniversary in the year 2005. (See below for details or visit Sabah Tourism Board Website or Sabah Tourism Board).
(4) Night>> was successfully held in Sabah Trade Centre on 10th June 2004 (Thursday). We specially invited MARSILING High School from Marsiling, Singapore, leading by Ms. Wong as instructor. This is the first time we involved outbound school to have an exchange programme with us.
(5) On 19th April 2003, we held the biggest choir singing concert in Yayasan Sabah, <<WE Sing!>>, involving over 200 performers of 7 different choir groups from locals and West Malaysia.
