For those who do not know the "BOO!" story - here it is: Semeka Randall obtained her nickname of "BOO" because of the following:
Semeka was interviewed on TV in the wake of the Lady Vols victory over UCONN in 1998.
Semeka made the statement, (now this is to the best of my recollection):
"The UCONN players looked like they were scared of us."
Welp . . . the UCONN fans and players "got wind" of this Freshman's statement. The UCONN fans "BOOed!!" her. She was also seen during the game, wrestling on the floor for the Bball with a certain Russian UCONN player. The UCONN fans "BOOed!!" her. SOOOOOOOOooooooooo . . . the nickname "took". Now, at every Lady Vols game, when Semeka is announced, etc. WE - Lady Vols fans "BOO!!" her. But that's aGOOD "BOO!!"
