~ Lliae Llyhedras is my character in the fantasy role-playing world of ~Alleria~
She is a Sea Elf, or Thėlyri, a race not yet commonly seen in Alleria, though indeed their existence has been hinted at by the Allerian historians;
Elves are found in may parts of the empire and beyond it' s borders, and there are many aincent races, uniquely adapted to their different locales.

Some of her physical characteristics include the eyes that are black from edge to edge, and a golden-brown skin colour tinged with jade that is particular to her race. Her smile is warm and wide and her lips are pink and quick to quirk up in a grin. The hair of a sea elf is usually tinged with green in any case, but in Lliae's case it shines emerald-black.
Being a Thėlyri, she possesses the race's ability to breathe, and indeed live, underwater and actually did not use her lungs at all for the first twenty years of her life, relying instead on her gills and her ocean waters for oxygen.
There are three lines of gills on either side of her neck, and these must be kept moist at all times, either by sipping water or by submerging herself in water, shutting off her lungs and breathing through the gills.
Lliae's past is not pleasant, her childhood, although happy, was brief and adulthood was thrust upon her at the tender elven age of thirty when her parents were slaughtered by a human mercenary band and the young Lliae was captured and sold into slavery. See more about this in her Histories
