Ladyfest Lansing's status - PLEASE READ


It is with a heavy heart and an ache in my stomach that i have to announce that Ladyfest Lansing is on hiatus indefinitely.

I simply didnt have enough acts to perform the last two years, or helpers to pull off this festival. I am hoping that its a result of hard economic times and with a change in the white house and a brighter economic future on the horizon: especially for Michigan, that we can once again have Ladyfest Lansing in the near future! I hate doing this. Ladyfest Lansing has been such a strong event for five years running now. But i'm left with no choice.
We can't have Ladyfest Lansing with out the ladies! So continue sending in your submissions and support, and let me know if you are interested in participating in future endeavors!

I apologize to anyone who this inconveniences, but i simply cannot run a festival without acts and support!

I'm staying positive and i'm hoping that i'll get some response soon.
