Students for a Democratic Society at Dartmouth College

Students for a Democratic Society is a non-partisan educational organization which seeks to promote greater active participation on the part of all Americans in the resolution of present-day injustices that plague our nation. It is hoped that such participation will contribute to their awareness of the need for the establishment in the United States of a truly free and equal nation in which the principle regulating production, distribution, and exchange will be providing for human needs, and under which human rights will be protected and extended.   We call for a united student activist movement that will gradually work to ameliorate the problems facing American society.
