Our Samoyeds

Samoyeds were our first breed, and although we haven't been active in showing or breeding Samoyeds for many years we still have an interest in this beautiful breed.

Pictured below are some of the
beautiful Samoyeds we have owned over the years

Ch Kalina Silver Chief
bred by
Mrs Y Sydenham-Clarke (Vic)

'Chief' was a very typey, well made, beautifully balanced Samoyed.  Together with these attributes and his beautiful 'smiling face' he epitomised the standard of the breed.
'Chief' did a lot of winning in the showring including CC and Best of Breed at the 1975 Sydney Royal under esteemed UK judge Mr Percy Whitaker.   Part of Mr Whitaker's critique of the Samoyed breed '...the top specimens were up to world standards'.

Ch Kalina Karamia
bred by
Mrs Y Sydenham-Clarke (Vic)

'Mia' was a beautiful Samoyed bitch, attaining her championship very quickly.  Not only a lovely show bitch, but also a wonderful personality.

Ch Kalina Imperial Kyoto
bred by
Mrs Y Sydenham-Clarke (Vic)

'Kyoto' pictured winning an all breeds Best Exhibit in Show at only eight months of age. He won nine minor puppy in show awards, attained his championship title at nine months of age.  He was a truly beautiful Samoyed.

Snosheen Sari Sparkle
bred by
Vic & Aileen Perry (NSW)
'Kylie' was bought as a companion for 'Chief' after our last Samoyed bitch Ch Eleban Snowland Pixie ('Flossie') passed away.  'Kylie' was not shown as she didn't like the showring, but was a beautiful bitch, and wonderful companion.
