I  belong to a Baloch Family tracing its roots to the Kulanch region of Makran.On invitation from Taj Mohammad Langah,the then ruler of Multan,three tribesmen migrated from Makran to the new land.Sardar Haji Khan Mirlani settled in the region known as Dera Ghazi Khan,and Sardar Ismail Khan Hot settled in Dera Ismail Khan, whereas Sardar Fateh Khan Kolachi settled in Dera Fateh Khan Kolachi near D.I.Khan.The Tehsil Kulachi bears witness to the rule of Kolachis in the area.Having a tribal fight with Gandapur Wazirs,the Kolachi family relocated to the areas of Dera Ghazi Khan.My fore-fathers in early 19th century settled in the fertile land of Mirpur Mathelo. My family background is incomplete if it doesn't mention the Great Legend of His Area: Haji Muhammad Alim Kolachi.He being the Graduate from Aligarh University joined Revenue Department.He being the student of His elder brother Master Lutuf Ali better known as Miskeen(Saint) in the area,inculcated the love for Arabic,Persian and regional language poetry. It is none but Haji Muhammad Alim Kolachi and Mai Azmat Kolachi whose efforts brought Kolachi Family to present level where they enjoy enviable positions in Civil Services and Professional Cadres.
