We are a small group of adopted Koreans resident in the United Kingdom. Most of us were adopted to England in the 1970's, the rest of us have found ourselves here through a combination of fate, studies and work!

This site has been created as a reference point and resource centre for all UK based adoptees, and to help develop links between ourselves and other adoptees around the world.

DELICIOUS KOREAN LUNCHES

The Asadal Korean restaurant in New Malden continues to very kindly host lunches on the third Saturday of each month for all adopted Koreans living in the United Kingdom. NEW BOOK - In Search of Belonging - Edited by Perlita Harris

A couple of us were recently invited to submit contributions to a new book of works by Transracial and Transnational Adoptees. The book is a first of it's kind for the UK and we are very proud to be involved with it. The book contains poems, artworks and written accounts from over fifty adoptees, dealing with issues of race, identity, and ultimately an ongoing quest to find a sense of belonging. I have added a link above and also in the book section of this site to purchase the book, and when i get some time I will add copies of our submissions too.
