Welcome to Krystal Kourt JRTs. We are located in NE Texas about an hour's drive NE of Dallas. We are a small kennel and only breed occasionally. We also show our wonderful Jack Russells, mostly at JRTCA sanctioned trials. We recently started hunting with our JRTs. Our kennel is registered with the JRTCA as well as our breeding stock.
Our resident jrts are: Sarah, a tri-color broken female; Scamper, a tri-color broken male: and Taffy, a tri-color smooth female. Our newest addition is Dew who is dam to the jrt who started my obsession: DayDream Oopsa Daisy.
One of my daughters, Kelly, has become interested in showing our jrts. She started out showing in child handler and just last year moved up to youth handler. She showed at a trial in Denton, TX in fall 2004 and placed 1st in youth handler and 2nd in youth gtg, earning the high point youth ribbon. January 2005, in Athens, TX she placed 1st in both youth conformation and youth gtg, again earning the youth high point award. She also showed DayDream Rio in the costume contest(Rio was dressed as a raccoon) in Denton, TX at the request of her owners, Rusty and Cheryl Martin. Kelly is also showing interest in hunting these little terriers.
