The Brick Slaughter-House.

I'm a psychology student, in my
FINAL YEAR now, which is rather exciting. The only problem is everyone has started to ask the dreaded question: "So, what are you gonna do when you've finished?" My god, I've been at university putting off doing anything for four years, I can't believe I have to decide soon...

This site is, basically, about stuff that I'm into, & my life. I try to write poetry, so I've put a lot of that on here too for anyone who's interested; I love my boyfriend & friends, so there are a few photos on here too. Some things I'm into are:

Music, sleeping, Japanese horror movies, hair dye, wine, kitsch, Trap Door, human rights, tartan stuff, HappyTreeFriends.com, buddhism, dancing, big brother, cocktails, puppies, psychology, snuggling up in bed,
poetry, shopping, Thundercats, climbing, chocolate, glowsticks,
badgerbadgerbadger.com, singin' in the rain,
massages, compliments, waffles, vanity, cuddles, Six Feet Under, strawberry daiquiris, boots, flying,
shocking people, roses, Marilyn Monroe, hats, dogs in costumes, slippers, smiling

(I like a lot of varied music, but Placebo are my passion. Genre-wise, I like punk rock, ska, metal, nu-metal, rock, etc etc. A few of my fave bands are
Reel Big Fish, No Doubt, Ash, The Smiths, Jeff Buckley, David Bowie, The Thrills, Radiohead, The Pixies

I love foreign films, seen a fair few now: Battle Royal 1&2, Ring (0,1&2), Audition, Freezer, Dark Water, The Eye, Das Experiment, the Motorcycle Diaries, Bad Education, Ju-on (Grudge), Spirited Away,

I also love most other horror films: video nasties, slasher flicks, psychological thrillers, everything; and I like comedies too, especially Monty Python!! (Oh, and Peep Show, The Sopranos, Family Guy etc... on tv)

I love reading; I've read over 20 novels (not including various psychology books) in the past 8months, which isn't too bad. My favourite authors are
Joseph Heller, Anthony Burgess, Bret Easton Ellis, Kazuo Ishiguro,
Michael Moore, Chuck Palahniuk, Anne Rice, JRR Tolkien and, of course, Stephen King.

I don't read poetry as much as I write it; which, at the moment, isn't often. I know mostly Keats, Owen, Poe, but what i write isn't much like them. I write poems about despair, hope, love, life, hate, anger, loss... all nice stuff, really.)
