Munster Rugby MUNSTER LIFTED BY THEIR SUPPORTERS

29 May 2000

Perhaps one of the most poignant sights in Twickenham on Saturday was when the Munster team gathered with management and officials in the centre of the pitch at the final whistle, their marvellous journey ended with disappointment. They made their way slowly towards the South Stand where thousands and thousands of their drenched supporters waited to embrace them in their despair. According to captain Mick Galwey, "we went down to apologise, to say sorry for not winning, but they cheered and cheered and God that gave us a mighty lift."

Welcome to Tag Rugby TAG RUGBY is the NEW recreational summer sport to hit Ireland! It is a fast and exciting social game, which develops all the skills such as passing, running and kicking.
