SERVICES AND FACILITIES
In addition to the library collections of adult and children's books, Kirkland Public Library offers a selection of DVDs and videotapes. As the result of recent technical improvements, five computers with flat-screen monitors are available for patron use. Library facilities, housed in the former bank building, are provided by the Village of Kirkland. The Library is a member of the Prairie Area Library System (PALS).

FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
Kirkland Friends of the Library meet quarterly. The Friends hold fund-raising events for special non-budgeted items, or contribute to other needs such as funds toward matching grants. Events sponsored by the Friends include book sales and an annual salad luncheon. The Friends also help with special library events.
