Picked up this game in Ohio from an operator during Thanksgiving 2000. The game is not in perfect shape, but the price was right.

After sitting for several weeks (ended up being 2 months) I did get around to tearing the complete machine apart. Photos of the completed machine are below with the pre-restoration tear down following.

The game is very basic in nature. Two ramp shots, two hole locks, one skull shot and a chase loop.  The rules for the game are simple, but not easy to get every time. The moving gun is real cool to get multiballs and jackpots.

Restoration wasn't too hard, but the cleaning process took a while. This is probably the quickest 90's pin to strip and clean outside of the
NO FEAR one I have. Everyting cleaned up nice and looks great now.
Above is the head and cabinet. These required little work since the cab is in great shape. The plunger handle has been replaced with a gun that is used to shoot a moving target for a skill shot.

The only thing I have to do to totally rebuild the general illumination connectors in the head. These were put together sort of shabby, so I am going to do them over.

The display is almost wore out. They tend to "outgas" and have a limited life cycle. This one is over 10 years old and in need of replacing. I found a new display at EXPO, so I have a nice crisp one now.

To the right is the palyfield after a total tear down, cleaning, buffing, waxing, and re-assembly. In all about 25-30 hours of work.

Graphics are pretty neat, but the tie in to the move is weak. Most of the artwork and effects refer to the first move more than the second. There is no referance to any character other than Arnold except for a brief video shot of the liquid guy. I would guess the movie was in production at the same time as the pin.

The sounds are not too bad. Arnold's voice tells you to do stuff and shoot things. Pretty cool, but Arnold could have been a little more enthused with the voice clips.

The profanity ROMs that are in place say "F**K YOU A**HOLE" when you hit the database during a random feature. You don't hear it very often.
Different shots of the playfield. A better ball's view of the playfield. Great layout of items and overall good theme. I've always wanted a T2 and now I have it.
Very basic layout with different levels of shots depending on how many times you hit them. Most of the shots are long, so be able to hit them where they need to go. This game plays real fast.
Starting to tear down the left side. The skull and ramps are gone with the upkicker (hidden by the skull) shown.

Click on the pic for a better shot of this area and how dirty it was. This is typical for games on location.

The game was taken apart once before since some of the items were not where they were supposed to be. It took a while, but I figured out where everything was supposed to go.
More shots of the dirty areas with the right ramp gone now. Factory mylar was placed around the pop bumpers, white targets, and slingshot kickers. This all was removed to show a stunning playfield.

The non mylared playfield was gone over many times with Novus #2 plastic polish. This has a very mild abrasive that took all the haze and micro scratches out of the polyurathane finish. Looks like new!
The more hiding places, the more idrt. This area is under the apron where the balls drain to. The ball trough is here along with the kickback kicker and plunger kicker. Some dirt resides there too. (not any more)
Below is the totally torn down playfield that has not been cleaned yet on the left. A clean on on the right. Much difference in looks and ball play.
One more shot of the partial playfield tear down. Not much here, but lets you see some of the items that have to be take off.
Below is the flyer that is used to sell the game.
