10. Your Guild's Continuity:
Ki`Est is a medieval continuity, run by Sanguis Darkarma, the Royal family and a council made up of loyal members. There are two major “guilds”, the order of knights and the circle of wizards. Magic exists but is strictly managed and organized.

Roleplay using Continuity and your Charter.

Medieval [Castles & villages. Steel armor and crossbows possible.]



13. Types of characters your Continuity supports:
We accept most types of characters; vampfurres, lycanths, elvenfurres (or fey). We even allow demons and angels. We however do NOT allow humans, races of one’s own creation, or quarterprimes in any form
Exeptions:  Should one wish to rp a form of their own creation, they must make it a magical spell that they may perform, thus icly the wards would be taken in to consideration.  A website for this "form" is required in this case, listing all abilities, amount of posts it takes to reach this form, as well as how long the spell lasts.  One must also be reasonable with the abilities or it shall not be allowed.


14. Combat:
Combat is done by using freeform. There are magical wards placed around the kingdom that prevent magic from being cast, and weapons from being used except in designated areas (the arenas, and outside the kingdom walls).

15. Backstory:
Ki`Est kingdom has been around for many generations.  The lands years ago had wards placed around them by Spellcarver, at the request of CrystalIce, the queen, to help protect her lands and members.  Years later, the lands still ran by Crystal, under the name of Sanguis Darkarma, keeps them running just as she did before, a safe haven for those that travel here, as well as a place to learn how to defend themselves, should they wish to venture out once more.

16. Geography and Biome:
The lands within Ki`Est are located in the valley between mountain tops, keeping it safe from others, as well as out of sight.  A river flows on both sides, seperating the kingdom from any other major pieces of land, making it almost impossible to arrive unless taken by boat, wings, or the bridge that was rebuilt by Sanguis herself.

17. Magic Items:
Magic within Ki`Est is a tough one, for the wards stop most magic from happening, unless in designated areas.  Most items within reason are allowed within Ki lands, as long as they do not give you "super powers" or allow an instant kill without posting.   In fact the lands of Ki`Est even have a magic shop, where many differnet items of interest may be found.

18. Roleplay positions:
Ki`Est has a wide variety of positions that need to be filled, including knights, mages, advisors, and jobs about the community. Details can be found on the website. 

19. Factions
Ki'Est has different factions, led by council members, that roleplayer's can join depending on thier character's skills.
At the head of Ki'Est and it's territories are those of the Daikkah blood. The name Sanguis goes by is Darkarma, but HER side of the family, the Daikkahs, are those with claim to the throne.
The first of the factions under the Royal Family is the Order of Knights, led by an honour code and loyal to the Royal family. They are ranked highly about the kingdoms, and are called upon in times of war. Knights may take apprentices, otherwise the Head Knight sees to training. The Knights go through intense physical training, and are expected to be of the highest quality; both in fighting prowess and loyalty.
The second major faction is the Circle of Wizards. Because magic is a dangerous art, the wizards of the realm are carefully goverened, and those learning under the head mage are put into strict classes in order to keep track of the dangerous forces. Any "rouge" wizards are likely to be dealt with harshly. Random displays of power, outside of dire need are frowned upon.
Many mercenaries have come to ki'est for various reasons, but a formal group has yet to be set up. Inquire.

21. Plot Assumptions:
The wards, that prevent magic from being cast or weapons being drawn with “violent intent” outside of designated areas. Outside continuities as default are NOT accepted, unless approved by the rah. (Kasurian RP is likely to be accepted, but check first anyway, Ki is not a Kasurian continuity). There are NPC guards, which are controlled by the royal family and council ONLY.

22. OOC Areas:
OOC speech is allowed, but it must be within brackets and relate to the RP at hand. If you wish to chat, take it to whispers, or away from RP (private rooms, or the entry area).

23. Guild Positions:
Ki`Est kingdom has a council that helps to approve the rps, to help enforce the rules and to approve members.
