Welcome! Kids First Association is a tri-county family resource project operating in the Pictou, Antigonish, and Guysborough counties of Nova Scotia,Canada. It is a non-profit organization funded by Health Canada Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) as well as the Canadian Pre-Natal Nutrition Program (CPNP) in the Guysborough, Antigonish and Pictou counties. Kids First supports the health and well-being of children ages 0-6 years, and their parents and caregivers.

The Centre offers a change of setting - a warm, comfortable, friendly place where you and your child can have fun together, and meet other parents and children. We have a well supplied children's play area with lots of toys, games, books, and craft materials.
We also offer:

How can you benefit from Kids First ?

You get the opportunity to interact with other parents and caregivers - sometimes adults look forward to adult conversation after spending most of their time with young children. Come to Kids First for some friendly conversation. If you are looking for some answers or ideas on parenting issues, we have excellent resources on a wide variety of topics.Kids First gives children a chance to learn social skills by interacting with other playmates and adults.
