STREAM
Conditions
What's working
Cuyahoga River
Has been spotty. Dusk has been about the best time
Streamers. poppers.
Chagrin River
Has been decent. Fish are in summer holes
Streamers, poppers, cry patterns
Grand River
Probably fishing the best of all tribs.
Swing streamers. Poppers
Conneaut Creek
Has been fishing well. PA area has some musky around
Streamers or large nymphs.
PA steelhead streams. ( Elk, Walnut, Crooked..etc.)
????????
If I were to fish it I'd go to the mouth area and srip streamers
Clearfork River
Hot weather has made it back to carp and smallies
Streamers, poppers. Nymph DEEP for trout
PA trout streams. Neshannock, Cool Springs, Oil..etc.
Nymphs and elk hairs, sulphurs. Streamers for smallies
Wrapup
Casting to holes over and over, in other words beating the water has been the rule rather than the exception. Is it me or are these smallies getting tougher to catch? Could be the lack of change that I have become accustomed to as I age. Anyhow enjoy the last few weeks of summer and fish!!!

Fishing has been better in the mountain streams as large tribs have really heated up
