Kiaranuk Reg'd Alaskan Malamutes is a small kennel consisting of our 3 Mal Pals. We are located roughly 30 kms East of Thunder Bay, Ontario, along the Trans Canada Hwy (11), with a view of the Beautiful Lake Superior. 

We are always active with our dogs, be it in the Show ring, recreational sledding, camping, hiking, or participating in local educational breed events. We are members of the Alaskan Malamute Club of Canada and the Canadian Kennel Club. 

We're big believers in quality vs. quantity, and only plan a litter every few years when we plan on expanding our breeding program. We strive for Health, Excellent Temperaments, Type, with the purpose to always better this beautiful, magnificent breed. All of our dogs are cleared for health issues that are known to the breed, including Hips & Elbows (OVC), Annual Eye Exams through CERF, and our other concerns are Thyroid and Chondrodysplasia.

If you have an interest in this wonderful breed, we suggest visiting your local library, educational websites, and breed literature published by the AMCC or the AMCA. These will all help you better understand the pro's and con's before making that final decision as this breed is not a breed for everyone!
