You are aware of the terrible tragedy that took place this year: two of our friends, Merab Khabazi and Zaliko Kikodze have died at Mt. Ushba. They were known as professional mountaineers and worthy citizens held in high esteem in Georgia.
Zaliko Kikodze's foundation, that was set up recently, is making its first steps. We hope that this fund will unite our climbers and friends, and the fund's activities will he beneficial to all of us.
On our initiative a decision there has been made to help Merab Khabazi's family: his wife and a daughter. We would like to jointly buy a liltle apartment for Merab's daughter. Sophia, with our own means and with the support of his other friends. We wish that the promise, which Merab gave her, is kept...
