Why the newsletter? The goal is simply to share different thoughts and ideas that currently exist in the area of martial arts training. The focus is American Kenpo in all its forms, but isn't limited to that. Given the opportunity discussions on concepts, principles and applications of various arts may take place. The newsletter will share many views and opinions by many different schools of though that may at time contradict one another. This is ok because the newsletter is apolitical and professes no underlying goal of Kenpo world domination or any such thing so grand. It is just an opportunity to freely share information that may hold some value in your development as a martial artist in a format that is hopefully inviting. What is the training platform? The platform is more of a philosophy than a physical location. Unlike a formal dojo that requires a wall of mirrors and air conditioning a training platform can be created at the point that knowledge is shared. It represents the freedom to drop trou if you will and unashamedly share your martial arts experience with you fellow man/woman.
