This page is a tribute to a young actress who surely has a very bright future.
15-year-old Kelly Salmon was superb in CBBC's series 'Big Kids', playing Kate Spiller, a series enjoyable to adults too. Also starred in this series: Imogen Stubbs (Sarah Spiller), Duncan Duff (Geoffrey Spiller) and Matt Adams (Simon Spiller).
'Big Kids' was produced in 2000, and since then Kelly landed a part in a movie. I for one will certainly be watching out for future developments in the career of a very talented young actress.
According to the website, imdb.com - (link: http://uk.imdb.com/Name?Salmon,+Kelly) - Kelly has had a guest role in 'London's Burning' (2001), as well as parts in 'Solitaire for 2' (1995), and more significantly and most recently, Kelly played 'Phoebe Benallack' in the movie 'Dead In The Water', which starred former EastEnder and ex-(Ken) Boon star Michael Elphick.
As yet, of these parts, I have only seen 'Big Kids' so far. Any visitors who saw Kelly in the episode of 'London's Burning' or has seen 'Dead In The Water', feel free to e-mail me.
I intend to buy 'Dead In The Water', which has recently been released on DVD and is available at Tesco.com and amazon.co.uk. I'd rather rent it first, to be honest, but Blockbuster does not have this available to rent.
Earlier this year Kelly was nominated in the 'Young Artist Awards' for Best Performance in a TV Comedy Series - Supporting Young Actress for: "Big Kids" (2000)
