I first heard about this alien footage situation from my roommate on October 18 he was at Starbuck's down the street. We live near a college and this group of students was talking about some actual footage of aliens on the Internet and people were saying that it was real. Since I am already fascinated with extraterrestrials to and fro, this really got my attention. He asked for the site address and they gave him kbat746432.info.
I went to the site and saw a hand written letter in Russian and 5 seconds of footage. I had no idea what the letter said, but the footage was very eerie. It showed a woman lying on some sort of table with claw-like hands removing a long needle-like instrument from her lower stomach
The Russian letter was translated on several websites. It is interesting to note that the Russian scientist indicates that he has more footage and is willing to release it to the public.
Then, after approximately 2 days... the site disappears. Completely gone.
No one knows anything about it.
On October 26, a guy named Richard in a forum called "Aliens and UFO's Among Us" said he was going to check all this out. He traced the site to a domain server, but could not reach them by phone. He then sent a letter to the email address. But now Richard has disappeared. He has not posted in this forum since he contacted the Russian. He posted the email address so I wrote a letter myself.
I was damn surprised to even get a response, and after I read it, I immediately wondered how many people got this letter and picture. I posted the letter on some forums and asked if anyone had received the same letter. So far I can't find anyone who has. As far as I know this is the second letter the scientist has written.
I realize there are those out there who have strong opinions about the authenticity of the footage. They have the right to doubt that any portion of it is real. Personally, I'm not sure. I only saw 5 seconds of footage. It was really short. But the more I hear the debunkers debunking, the more curious I become. Who really cares if it's fake, or a hoax, or even worse, a Hollywood movie. I just hope it's a good one. On the other hand, if it is real, this thing is about to explode.
So in an effort to get to the bottom of this, I will be providing all the information I can find. Please contact me at kbat_alien_footage_investigation@yahoo.com , if you or anyone you know has received this letter or any others. I encourage anyone to provide additional information.
What follows is the most comprehensive collection of data and evidence I could find, related to this event. I tried to put everything in chronological order where possible.
This is the website that the Russian scientist put up containing a letter in Russian handwriting and short clip of purported alien footage. This site was shut down after about 2 days.

3. Alternative Translation of Russian Scientist letter (Letter No. 1)
It is similar to the translation, however there are some significant details that were overlooked, or simply did not get translated. I have highlighted the areas that are different.
To people of Russian Federation:
I am a scientist with Russian Space Agency for past twenty-two years. I am now resigning as a result of differences with superiors over project KBAT746432. It is a situation concerning truth and security of human race.
Russian government is in possession of astonishing physical evidence that could alter face of life on this Earth. Evidence was shared with United States government though both governments have no intention to inform public.
It is for this reason, my duty as a scientist and citizen, that I reveal such secrecies.
An Alien being craft has crashed into Kara Sea north of Siberian Plateau. A device exhibiting properties of a microchip was recovered from debris.
Data was decoded from microchip. The images, though damaged and fragmented, are clearly revealing of alien experimentation on humans.
It is difficult to travel and my life is now in danger. I will try to transmit footage when possible, however transmission is difficult to achieve under circumstances.
We were once comrades. But now you have crossed the line. People deserve to know truth. If you do not reveal the proof in its entirety, I will make a way to do it myself.

I hope you will be understanding my English.
Last year, me along with my comrades, accomplished miraculous
breakthrough by successfully decoding fragments of data from
"microchip-like" device, which had been recovered from UFO crash
site in the north of Siberian Plateau in year 2000.
Physical makeup of the beings is consisting of pale wrinkled skin
and claw-like hands having three-fingers. They making horrifying
surgical techniques that are contradicting our understanding of
physics, biology, and medical sciences.
Ministers of Russian and US Governments were making protests
concerning secrecy of this evidence. Numerous scientists and chief
officers made resignations from their country's space programs
because of secrecy and fear surrounding the discovery, and sadly a
close colleague of mine was been murdered in this year. By them, my
decision is justified.
We must provoke our governments to make admission of possession of
KBAT746432 disc and release it to the world.
I have enclosed photo from footage as my credential of authority.
LETTER NO. 1:
A: There is no organization in Russia called the Russian Cosmic Academy. There is the Russian Space Agency. (As stated in the alternative translation letter.)
B: Both translations speak of the Russian scientist resigning over the kbat evidence. Since I don’t know the scientist’s name, I cannot verify this.
C: The letters claim that the Russian government shared the evidence with the U.S. government and neither government has the intention of making the truth known to the public. This is not uncommon as the following articles demonstrate.
D: The scientist claims that an Alien craft "crashed into Kara Sea north of Siberian Plateau". I have also found some reasonable support of this as well.
E: He claims that, "a device exhibiting properties of a microchip was recovered from debris." I have found some documentation supporting this possibility.

The images that I have seen exhibit alien experimentation on humans. So our attention shifts to the quality, action, and believability of the images. Please see section 7, Analysis of the footage.
G: He states that people deserve to know the truth. He appears to be trying to coerce the governments into releasing the full evidence, and he states that if they do not, he will. It seems as though he must have a lot more footage.
LETTER NO. 2
A: He describes the beings as: "physical makeup of the beings is consisting of pale wrinkled skin and claw-like hands having three-fingers."
In the footage you can see that, in fact, the being does have pale wrinkled skin and claw like hands with what looks to be 3 fingers. The info below provides evidence of this physical description.
B: He clearly states that "Ministers of Russian and US Governments were making protests concerning secrecy of this evidence."
C: He states that "Numerous scientists and chief officers made resignations from their country’s space programs because of secrecy and fear surrounding the discovery, and sadly a close colleague of mine was been murdered in this year." To my amazement, I HAVE FOUND support for all of this in the news. (See Below)
D: He includes a still frame from the footage to prove that he is who he says he is. This is definitely from the same source, because you can see that it was photographed in the same area as the footage. However, the colors are different and there is no impression of an eye.
7. Analysis of the footage
Many people have seen this clip. Most of them have viciously debunked it. What shocks me is that some have debunked it immediately while admitting that they haven’t even seen the clip! Their reason is that "all such footage turns out to be a hoax". Still, there are a variety of opinions circulating. Some say it could be real. Others say it is a hoax. Still others claim that they can’t tell with only 5 seconds to view. There are also people who suspect that it could be a movie or a TV show of some sort, either already released or upcoming.
The majority of the debunkers have stated that the reason they think it is a fake is because it looks "effected". They say it looks as if it was photo shopped, edited, and when analyzed with video analyzer software it turned out to be digital with an "eye effect" put on it. Further they state that since it is viewed in Windows media, it is fake. But honestly, if someone was trying to show you classified footage and the only way they could leak it is via Internet, how else could you see it? It would have to be converted to a digital format and would have to be viewed in Windows media, QuickTime, Real Player, etc.
There is also the belief that the government plants false information about real evidence. The debunkers start debunking and then the "real evidence" loses all credence in the eyes of the public. Maybe this is what we have here.
As for the "eye effects" the article below provides an explaination.

Hi,I'm sorry I haven't reviewed your entire site but I have a theory
that might explain the "fish eye" effect seen in the video. I've done security work and the effect seen in the video is very similar to
that seen in of most early generation (and current low quality) hidden or small cameras. I don't think that the former Soviet Union would be fully
up to date with Western technology so it is these early revisions which
would likely be employed there. I've also noticed in the third of three sections of video that it appears as though it is being recorded
from behind something similar to bifocal glasses. Again, not sure if you have
these ideas on your site already, hope they are of use to your

Dear Mr Matchen,
after having learned about availability of kbat746432 tape on your site, I took the opportunity to download it and deeply analyze it.
My name is Antonello LUPINO; I am C.U.I. Director (CUI=International Ufologic Center, Italy) and I have been interesting for 27 years in ufologic researches. In particular, I have been following and analyzing aliens abductions phenomenon for 17 years. I have a degree in Psychology, and this allows me to analyze abductions cases. I have conceived a not invasive technique, called “Conscious Regression.” Besides I am very near in both professional and friendship way to the most important world ufologic experts, like Doctor Paola Harris, Doctor Michael Salla, Doctor Richard Boylan and lamented Professor John Mack.
I have personally conducted some analysis on the whole above mentioned tape, in particular:
I have analyzed 60 presumed abductions, at least 30 of which have manifested real episodes of abductions. I have been able therefore to understand a lot of things about these episodes; how they happen, what it is verifying, before, during and after them.
In this particular tape, I should start the analysis from two separate points:
First - the tape probably comes from an episode in which some humans have been involved in alien origin experiments;
Second - the tape is false but it is well manipulated
After having analyzed all these series of analysis performed on the tape, as well as on the content, I am quite sure to assume that this tape has been turned for other purposes (fantasy film or other) and certainly not turned by a microchip inserted in an alien eye, which would reproduce the theater of an abduction case.
There are many reasons, discovered during this tape analysis, that makes me doubt of his authenticity. Nevertheless it needs to clarify that who has turned this tape knows very well all alien abduction aspects and their techniques. It is clear that we are talking about a typical case of misinformation. In this case research protocols and investigation should be applied, created by the so-called Exopolitic, of which doctor Salla and Professor Greer are spokesman.
I send you the scheme of detective protocol conceived and followed by myself.
I can certainly supply you some data sprung by the analysis to which I have mentioned before reserving the right to publish the complete data subsequently.
I would say that I found an extraordinary similarity of the woman, taken back in the tape, with an actress of a very famous Italian and USA TV series.
Some linguistic and handwriting skills have been conducted on the letter written by hand by the presumed scientist. Also in this case there are some elements that could retain that this letter isn’t real.
There are then other elements, although inserted in a no reliable tape, I judge them truthful. I explain you better. As previously said, some elements within the scene, like environment, sarcophagus on which the woman has been laid down, a strange device on her body, together with other specific details, that I will be pleased to let you know later, can be known by people really involved in episodes of contact or abductions and/or by experts that know very well these operatives ways and their particular environments.
I stop here for the moment, waiting for the publication of the complete analysis.

This case is far from over. This analysis has no conclusive evidence and does not prove that the KBAT footage is a hoax. In fact, you should consider that it strengthens the possibility that this footage is real, because the analysis in question could not disprove the authenticity of the footage. Please know that I greatly respect your efforts in scrutinizing the KBAT footage, but I must say in the truest sense, that this analysis cannot be considered as conclusive, particularly when the core of its basis is a guess, such as the woman on the gurney. If she is an actress that is famous, where is her picture and where is the movie campaign? Remember, this footage was first exposed way back in the middle of October 2005.
Furthermore, concerning the image I have attached here, I don’t agree that your sketched outline represents an alien head. The area you marked is transparent. You can see the edges of the sarcophagus through the area where you have suggested the alien's head would be. You can see the claw-like hands, but there is clearly no alien head in this image.
Your suggestion about a microchip being inserted into an alien eye is fascinating and may pertain to this case. This technique was never mentioned by the Russian scientist in his letters. Do you have other evidence or cases that you could provide that would support this theory?
