Okay, so this us.
My real name isn't kayo, but that's what everyone has called me since I was like 7 years old when my baby sister couldn't say Caroline. Yep.... dat's me name. But please call me Kayo!
A little about me:
I was born in 1976. My Dad is Italian, my mom was 1/2 Korean and 1/2 Italian. My sisters don't look Asian at all, really, but I do, mostly I look a lot like my mom. I gave my Dad a lot of grief when I came out, but he's pretty cool with it now. Some of my so-called friends never recovered, but that's another story, and I'm past it anyway! I had a lot of medical problems 10 years ago that made life 'interesting' and I'm past that too, I think, so there's nothing else to say.
Cath:
Cath was born in 1974. She is a Speech Therapist and got her Masters at NYU...because she is a genius. Cath's parents are both Italian and very conservative. Ah, you're saying, I bet that made for some tough times. But no...they are a tight family and actually welcomed me once the initial shock wore off. They have supported us in so many ways, it makes us more determined to stay together and change together and that's what it's all about, I think.
