Kay is freelance dance instructor and dancer based in Singapore. Started dancing at a young age, she had her proper contemporary modern dance training during her secondary school days with Artistic Director of Frontier Danceland, Mdm Low Mei Yoke and Hip Hop dance training under Mr Patrick Loo, founder of Hip Hop Dance Company- United Groovers.
As a registered instructor with The People's Association and Singapore Sports Council, Kay teaches Hip Hop Dance at various Community Centres/Clubs and Sports Complex. Kay also teaches Contemporary Modern and Street/ Modern Jazz at schools (Secondary and Junior Coleges) and private dance studios.
Besides teaching, Kay also performed and choreographed in several productions by Frontier Danceland since 1994.
