The Kankakee Area Speech, Language, And Hearing Association (KASHA) is an organization of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists who are employed by public and private schools, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes and/or private practice.  By collaborating and continuing our education in our profession through KASHA opportunities, we can better meet the needs of our clients.

2004-2005 Guest Speakers:
Our next presenter will be Kurt Daniels speaking on the topic of Dysphagia, Video Swallowing, and the Mentally Handicapped Population.  It will be held at the Shapiro Developmental Center from 1:00pm  to 4:00pm on June 14, 2005.  Contact Amy Wenzelman, Sue Follansbee or Colleen Sazama for further information.

Susanne Hildebrand provided us with a wonderful presentation on March 17, 2005.  The subject of "Dialects" was very informative and answered many of our questions related to servicing the African-American Population.  Thank you Susanne!
