Venerable Lama
Karma Samten Gyatso
Venerable Lama Samten was born in Gertse,
West Tibet, and brought up from an early age by
his uncle, who was a yogin and abbot of the Sakya tradition.
Like Venerable Lama Shedrup and Venerable Lama Assi, Lama
studied under His Eminence Beru Khyentse Rinpoche and Venerable Kyabje Kalu Rinpoche in India. At the end of his formal studies, he completed three sucessive traditional three year retreats.
