The purpose of the Kansas Hawking Club is to promote, improve, aid and encourage competency in the art and practice of falconry and raptor breeding among interested persons.  We also further declare that our purpose is to communicate and disseminate information to members, to promote education in conservation of birds of prey and an appreciation of their value in nature and wildlife conservation programs.  We also promote falconry as a field sport and wish to safeguard its' practice.  Most members are either apprentice, General or Master falconers, however anyone with a valid interest in falconry is welcome.  Our organization is a wonderful way to gain knowledge of the sport of falconry and one of the best ways to decide whether or not this sport is for you.
