If we all join together, Kansas will be a better place to ride a bicycle.  We can go to Topeka and say that we represent thousands of cyclists in the state of Kansas.  It's free to join and by joining you become part of the solution towards making Kansas a better place for all cyclists. 

Some of the things that state wide organizations are doing include the successful termination of Texas SB238 that would have ended nearly ALL group riding (two or more cyclists), on county roads in Texas.  In Missouri, one member of the Missouri Bicycle Federation now has the ability to access the DMV database in order to send a motorist a letter if the motorist broke a law that may have compromised a cyclists safty.  The letter will state when the incident occured, the laws that where broken, and what those laws are punishable by.  By banding together we could greatly improve our position  towards improving cycling in Kansas.  Join up and become one of the numbers that makes the difference.
