The Kangal Dog is well-known, well-accepted and higly respected dog breed of Turkey. My people do not mention the breed without raising their eye brows without respect and pride.
Even Turkey does not have a current kennel club the breed is well established in minds and hearts of the Turkish nation for a long time.

In Turkey we believe that the Kangal Dog is known internationally as the Anatolian Shepherd Dog .
Actually the Anatolian Shepherd Dog is nothing but the newly developed group of dogs which are believed to exist all over my country in unique type.
