"Kabookie" is a clown in Scottsville,
Kentucky. She was a special reader for the Kindergarteners at Smithville Elementary in Tennessee on "Read Across America" Day in 2000 and 2001. Kabookie especially loves
reading because there's "a book" in the
middle of her name! She's learned about lots of fun things to make and to do (like juggling and balloon twisting) from reading! Kabookie has a new clown partner now! Her name is "Vady". Together, they have clowned with the Shriners' for their 2001 Christmas benefit, the Allen County Primary Center's Fall Festival, and the 2001 Christmas Parade in Scottsville. They are looking forward to many fun clowning days to come!
