I am starting this new site November 1, 2005. Hope it will become a good place for everyone  to visit. Give it some time and check back often for new things.
Now let me introduce myself. I am a retired pilot and farmer from west central Oklahoma. I'm proud to have served with the 61st army aviation in Vietnam. A long interest in radio communication finally convinced me to get my general license in January 1998.
My wife also acquired her techinician license in March 2000. We moved to our present location north of Mansfield Missouri in 2002. With an interest in promoting the hobby of amateur radio in our community I have tryed to encourage friends and  others to get involved. The repeater and tower I have put up here on the hill behind my home has been working very well. So far I am pleased with it's preformance. As for the equipment I am using a: GE Master II Desk Mate Continuous Duty/ Repeater with Wacom 641 Duplexers, Frequency is 147.090+ offset, the tower is 65' with a DB224 Antenna on top of the tower.
Other interests have included model G-scale railroads, classic cars and RVing. And of course my little Westie, my four legged friend Tinker Bell.
If you have a minute please let me know you came to visit by signing my guest book.
