JWS Archives Project

Concerned about preserving our John Woolman School history the JWSAA initiated the Archives Project in 2002. The first stage of this project has been to begin organizing the many early documents and photos stored in boxes and file cabinets in a closet in what is currently the Library. (See You Tell Us for an inside view of the current library building in 1963.) If you'd like to join us for these work days email or snail mail us. We'd love to see you there!

To keep up to date with our meetings, our annual gathering, and other alumni events, and for contact information for the JWSAA officers visit our website .

Posted here are the "All-School" photos that were in those files in addition to several which alumni have given us.

There are more detailed (higher resolution) JPEG files for many of the photos here. We are happy to email or snail mail you any files you would like to have to make quality prints at home or to take to your local print shop to print. Email or snail mail us with your request.
