| In 1932 there was a women by the name of Effie she was the witch of the newly started town of Coeburn VA, this witch wasnt known as an evil witch. In the time she was alive the towns people of coeburn would tell stories of what she did in her cabin in the mountains, there were recently two towns men that had gone missing. Effie was the blame, it was said the two men went to see want she did in the night and that she caught them and turned them into wolves, so no one ever neared the house. After she passed away her family have reported hearing her call out there names, and warned them that family members would die. In 1943 the towns people hung Effie for being a witch, before being hung she swore that she would get revenge on the towns people. A week later there were tweleve bodies found outside her old cabin. Ever since the souls of the tweleve bodies have haunted the woods of Coeburn VA, along with the soul of Effie the witch....... |

| THE BLACK FOREST takes place in the woods of Coeburn VA. You will be led to the beginning of the forest were you have to get out on your own. There will be no guide, very little light, and no one will hear if you scream. The Black Forest is the one of the scariest haunted attractions in southwest virginia. This is the second year for the forest to be open to the public.
