I live in beautiful New Zealand and have been writing for twenty years. My short stories have been published in various magazines - everything from a fishing yarn to fun romances, and even a story about pig hunting!

My first novel 'Progressions', published by Zumaya Publishing, Canada won the 2005 EPPIC Award for Best Single Title Mainstream. Progressions is a 'coming of age' story about a woman who wonders what to do with her life when her husband, children, and even the cat leave home at the same time. I'm hoping this will be a series, and have now finished the second book, entitled, 'Watch Over Me'.
The story is set on Kawau Island, which is a small island off the coast of the North Island of New Zealand.
The book is yet to be published.
A new children's picture book, entitled 'Sebastain's Tail' Penguin (NZ) is due out on September 29th 2008.
