| JoAnn Mooy is a national award winning photographer, specializing in landscapes of Provincetown, Truro, and Wellfleet on Cape Cod. Her photographs have been published in national and regional magazines, including: Cape Cod Life, the Provincetown Pocket Book, Provincetown Magazine, Provincetown Business Guild Magazine, Dog Fancy magazine and "Images of America -Provincetown Volume II". Her photos have also been used to illustrate various summer guides and calendars. JoAnn's photos have been exhibited in galleries and juried shows in CT, FL, MA, NY and NJ. Jurors have described her photos as "fine art landscapes." Four of her photos were selected for the prestigious "Images - CT" show. She is in private collections across the US, as well as in France, Australia and the UK. She was the contributing photographer during the creation of the provincetown.com web site. She is currently staff photographer for WomenSport Collectibles where she photographs WNBA and women sports' stars. Her photographs are carried exclusively by The Crooked Fence Gallery in Chatham and Provincetown Antiques in the west end of town. She has developed and teaches an online course in photography. During her spare time she is working on a book about Provincetown. |
