A Department 56 Collection By Joan Paris

Welcome to my village. I hope you enjoy visiting it as much as I enjoy setting it up and enjoying it myself and sharing it with family and friends.  My very first little village was displayed on top of my piano in the early '70's. At this time I had no Dept 56 pieces. After a couple of years, it grew to a card table and it was then that I purchased my first Dept 56 piece, "All Saints Church."

Soon after, while visiting the Incredible Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge Tenn., I spotted the Craftsman's Cottage. I immediately saw the resemblance to the house I grew up in in the late 40's and 50's. I had to have it. This started my addiction. The next Christmas, my husband Leroy and children Sheri, Michael and Dignon, gave me a totally Snow Village Christmas. And did I love it. They added a lot of pieces to my now growing village. It has now grown to 18 buildings, 26 automobiles and hundreds of accessories. I have been able to find everything I want and need at Seasons Greeting here in Greensboro.

My husband and I both enjoy working on it together. I do love my Snow Village. Since this is my first attempt at having a web page, I hope to make additions to it so I hope you will check it again.
