Second Captain
Job requirements:
- 100 ton or larger Master (Captain's License)
- STCW Certification (Basic Fire Fighting/First Aid - can be acquired in about three days)
- Enrollment in Grande Sportfishing's drug testing program, including a pre-enrollment drug test
Job description:
- Operation of the vessel to and from the fishing grounds, including night driving
- Some engine room experience a plus
- Must be willing to help with deck duties including fishing, fish cleaning, boat cleaning and customer service
- This job will offer the employee the opportunity to learn all the aspects of operating a fishing boat and after gaining the necessary experiance, the opportunity to operate the vessel as the primary Captain on a part-time basis.
Starting pay: $125.00 daily wage. Will increase with experience.
