What makes a Christian? A SPIRIT THAT SEEKS GOD, A NEW SPIRIT THAT HAS
BEEN BIRTHED IN US. The Nature of God imparted into the nature of man by a
real born again experience. John 3:5-8 [READ] 2Corn. 5:17... new
creation.... [READ] in other words you are not what you used to be.
It is mankind's spirit connected to Gods Spirit. Christianity is that
Godly Nature growing in our spirit as we keep ourselves connected to the
Living God. Christianity is the only religion that serves a Living God and
that God comes into the vessel of flesh and lives through that vessel.
1Corn. 3:16...you are the temple of the Holy Spirit...John 4:24.... GOD IS
A SPIRIT.... WHEN GOD AND MAN ƒ GET TOGETHER GOD CHANGES MAN. That
connection produces what man calls "Christian ". God calls them "Sheep".
John 10:1-8 This experience with God does not make anyone perfect, just
forgiven. But among our faults and failures the Nature of God moves through
us to minister to people.
The connection produces a reflection. [like a light connected to
electric] The Christ like nature grows as we take Gods Word into our
spirit, not just hearing but receiving. 2Peter 1:1-14 [READ] That
reflection of God only comes as we spend time in the Presence of the Holy
Spirit! GODS' POWER PLANT. It is at those times the Holy Spirit can impart
the Nature of the Father and the Son into our spirit.
Bible study, prayer, worship and praise is the GATES to our soul and
spirit. Any time we "close these gates" we close out the Nature of Jesus,
thus becoming a Christian in name only.
READ: Matt. 7:21-23 Ezk.33:31-33
It is dangerous ground to profess and not posses. Taking on the Name of
Jesus is the most important thing mankind will ever do. A job, living,
possession, and etc. is not for eternity. There will be a last time for
every thing in this life, but for Jesus it is for Eternity. Those who
reflect Jesus Nature is Light to a dark world, salt to a hungry world and
water to a thirsty world [Spiritual].
A connection to the Holy Spirit produces: Joy in the Lord, excitement,
thrill, and love, for the Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus. WE CAN NEVER
love whom so ever, forgive whosoever, until our spirit is connected to the
Spirit of God. Many things can break that connection. If for any reason we
have become disconnected from the Vine we are nothing to God until we get
connected again.
Many times the church is seeking the Power of God to work in their midst,
but they must first seek the Nature of Jesus, then the Power of God
follows. It is the Nature of Jesus we must first contend for.
We live in the same flesh Jesus lived in when He walked on this earth.
In His flesh He extended the Nature of the Father. IT is that nature
working through our flesh that ministers to people. Mankind taking the Hand
of God and helping people connect to that Hand. Church membership will not
do that, only a personal connection with the Divine will do it. There are
for to many hard hearted, cold, indifferent people who call themselves
Christians that do not reflect the Nature of Jesus. REMEMBER: it is not
what we say we are but it is what our spirit says we are. Our spirit speaks
the truth. Our spirit speaks the loudest when it is under pressure. It
has been said, "truth is a hard pill to swallow", but unless we swallow the
Truth of Gods Word we will not change.
Truth produces Christianity, those who care for the soul of mankind.
The Church cares what man thinks. It has pride, prejudges, sees the outer
man and works to promote an institution. Church is not the center of
Christianity. Church is Gods Big Dinning Room [spiritual] where Gods People
come to meet the Father and the Son, to be fed. Given strength, grace,
power and etc. that we will be able to minister to those we come in connect
with in our every day lives.
I heard it said "there should be a sign as Gods People leave the House of
God, saying YOU ARE NOW ENTERING THE MISSION FIELD!" That's the bottom
line, ministering to people. To be an ear for a broken heart, to be a hand
to lift the fallen, be a light to those in darkness [no matter how dark].
Ministering to people has no set pattern, just be obedient to the Spirit of God.
We can tell when we have a "loose" connection to Gods Vine, we become
self centered. Churches can become self centered. To say we know Jesus and
do not care for people’s souls [saints and sinners] is a sure sign we have
lost connection to the Vine.
I knew a precious Saint that use to go to the streets and minister to
the street girls. She use to say to me,"those girls need God as bad as the
church girls." After she passed away I was told many things she had done
that many of her church family never knew about. But her Heavenly Father
knew all about her ministry and He is the One who gives the rewards.
Only you and God know if the connection joy you have is producing a Life
of Love to a world that is so hungry for Love. THAT MY FRIEND IS WHAT
CHRISTIANS ARE.
