| The Corolla Chapel |
| We have chosen to get married at the Corolla Chapel in Corolla, North Carolina by Pastor John O. Strauss. Pastor Strauss and his congregation welcomed us to their church. Corolla Chapel is a warm and inviting place to worship, and we are thrilled that Pastor Strauss has agreed to marry us. The chapel is tucked away behind the Currituck Beach Lighthouse in Corolla Village. Located down a dusty road and hidden by trees, it is the most quaint and charming church you will ever see. It was built in 1885 and was recently moved so that it could be expanded to accommodate its growing attendance. The century old chapel still holds its original interior walls and ceilings; and is furnished with many of the original items including its pews, pedal organ, pulpit, and pulpit chairs. |
