Welcome to our little home on the World Wide Web. Pull up a chair and visit a while.  I hope that you'll enjoy your visit, and leave  edified and encouraged.
In the good ole days-"PRE-internet times" The Lord burdened my heart for Christian wives and mothers who spend so much time shut away from the outside world tending to the needs of their beloved husbands and precious children. I had no older woman nearby to take me under her wing and show me the ropes. As a result, this little nook, my emailazine, and
print magazine are my ways of obeying Titus 2:4,5.  Many  women see motherhood as a temporary position. They look forward to the day when they "get their life back" and the nest is empty and long for the day when they can sleep late, or go to college to "make something of their lives".  Oh! what abundant blessings these women miss. Motherhood doesn't end the day the last child is married or on their own. They now it's time to live!  How wrong they are! Dear Ladies, Motherhood begins the moment the first baby is concieved and doesn't end until  we pass from this life into eternity. (Do you know where you will spend eternity?) If we all took Titus 2:4,5 to heart and acted upon it, many lonely, distraught, stressed-out young moms would look differently at their roles as mothers. It's bad enough that society makes women who are keepers at home/stay at home moms, feel like they're a detriment to society. The real shame is that most churches today make them feel like outcasts in the very place where they should be praised, and encouraged for the wonderful work they are doing. They should be commended, not condemned. Their should be no shortage of older women to teach them the necessary home-making skills, but there is. Imagine the difference it would make if young women had to turn older women away because they were overwhelmed with all the help readily available to them.
Oh dear Lady, won't you purpose in your heart to obey Titus 2!
Will you be to someone the "teacher of good things" that you never had?
Only when we embrace our femininity and our womanhood,
and all that goes with it will we find fulfillment, peace and joy.
We will probably never meet on this side of Glory,
but I hope that you will leave here today edified and blessed.
