J216 class with Prof. Danny Arao This is our Page!

Mga Isyu sa Ilalim ng Arao is our pet project as graduate journalism students taking-up Specialized Reporting (J216) under Prof. Danilo Arao. The website highlights various topics written by us.

As the title suggests, this site attempts to tackle all issues under the sun.

Through this medium, we aim to voice out our views on government corruption, the educational system, population and reproductive health issues, insights on the real estate industry, and a discussion of energy issues. Plus, the site will also provide updates on health matters, the current peace and order situation, local government and trends on Information Technology.

With the advent of this technology, news, features and opinion article of the writers are now made available for everybody to read. It is the objective of the students not only to make the people aware of issues that confronts the country but also to reach out to concerned individuals to partake in their journey to agitate the public to participate and get involved. And most especially, as journalists, we too would like to make a difference in our own little way.

J216 class with Prof. Danny Arao

This project website was made possible by the collaborative effort of Mike Frialde (Philippine Star reporter, malambing at nagsisimba kahit puyat!), Leah Lapastora (PR writer and college instructor), Marou Laurio-Eduarte (freelance PR writer and full-time wife plus part-time psychic), Judith Estrada (DWIZ's Jill-of-all-trades), Tanya Mabalot-Hisanan (working mom and student), Charo Logarta-Lagamon (ABS-CBN news reporter and mother of a cute baby girl!), Marilou Dominguiano (who, according to her, is sexy, sweet, smart, pretty and witty!) and Fredaline Dado (real estate dragon lady and empire builder).
