Since I have now completely revised all of the previously self published Josh Rogan titles, I am now going back to the stories which I did start some time ago, but then which quickly came to a halt. This one is a tale about Royals, commoners and detectives in Victorian Britain. It is far from finished so is indeed a work in progress, and does not even have a final title, but I have narrowed it down to 2 - John Quicksilver and / in the Case of the Shattercane Murders or John Quicksilver By Royal Appointment, I actually just favour the former, but, no hurry to decide.
To make it a little more interesting, I thought I would allow this work in progress, to literally progress online, for anyone to read. Over the months there will be much additional content, some deletion of what is there; and as can happen when putting a story together, a sudden and dramatic change in direction.
All comments, criticisms and suggestions are welcome, as they always are. So, do take a peek at the rough draft here now, this contains the opening chapters and then a couple of chapters set well away from London and in a totally different time from that of the central part of the story. My job is, and it will take months to do, to now bridge the latter with the former, and then move on to a finale. Wish me luck....
