ok, this is mostly going to be a bunch of pictures of the progress of this balsa wood glider i built.
the pics are not too good because they were taken with my crappy webcam as opposed to a better camera or even a 35mm one and then scanned. Enough about that, on with the pictures.

First of all, the plans. these were photocopied off an old model building book and blown up to size.

Materials. Shown: 1/32" sheet balsa, 1/8" sq. balsa spars. Not shown: 1/16" sheet balsa, lighweight silk span, glue, paint.

Wing ribs and wing tip formers ready for sanding. those were cut out of 1/16" sheet balsa. The horizontal stabilizer is seen already assembled.
