On January 7th, 2001 Jon sank to one knee and professed his undying love and appreciation and begged Jessica to be his wife. Okay....Okay....so it wasn't quite that dramatic.
But it sure was sweet! Jon asked Jessica at her home on her last day before returning to college. As her family anxiously awaited over at the church, Jon proposed and Jessica said yes. Upon hearing of the engagement, Jessica's Aunt replied, "Thank God, He still answers prayers. Jessica got her man!"
Meanwhile, Jon's parents awaited the "official" answer. His mother prepared the camera much to Jon's dismay to document this moumentous occasion. |
