Also, I have considerable experience in conducting continuing education for respiratory therapists and nurses. Since my teaching experience has been rather eclectic, the range of topics I've addressed is quite diverse. These include clinical topics in adult, pediatric and neonatal care, as well as non-clinical topics; such as, research methods and instructional methods. Writing is another professional interest of mine, In fact, I enjoy writing as much as I enjoy teaching. Although writing is hard work, there is a lot of satisfaction to be gained from thoroughly researching and crafting a good article or book chapter. Finally, I have had some experience in working with attorneys as a legal expert witness. This is very interesting and challenging work; moreover, it has increased my ability to avoid possible legal pitfalls during my own clinical practice.
