Pontus Praelix John
Norman
These words come to you direct from the Big Bang, which is
now revealing its message fully to all intelligent beings of Planet Earth
though me, John Norman, the Pontus Praelix of Big Bangism. The Big Bang is now
revealed as the message, the light, the primary communication to our world, and
at the same time its creator. Everything we need to know has been communicated
to us through the Big Bang, and has laid waiting for all these eons up to this
time where the message is now made manifest to us.
This is the Book of the Big Bang, every word of this book
is true, every word inspired through the almighty and unsurpassable power of
the Big Bang. What was before seen dimly, as though through a steamy window, is
finally seen now in its ultimate and basic truth.
We will begin with a
parable:
There was once a Far Eastern king
who wished to have the wisdom of the world at his finger tips. So he assembled
his wisewisepeople and sent them to the furthest reaches of the globe in order
to seek out, compile and summarize the diverse wisdoms of every land. After
this they would all return and condense all the wisdom of the world into a
single set of books for the king’s reference.
They went out into the world and
after several years they returned home, and as the kingdom was a wise, honest
and serene place they had the best conditions for compiling the wisdom they had
collected. It took only a few more years before the series of books was
finished.
During this space of time,
however, the king’s health had taken a turn for the worse and his eyesight was
failing, so he had no interest in a series of books and asked the wisepeople to
distill what they had garnered down to a single volume for his perusal.
As the kingdom was in harmony with
nature and the universe, and every person in harmony with his fellow man,
woman, girl, boy, child and animal, it was no problem for the wise committee to
agree on the final version of the book to be presented to the king, and on the
appointed day they appeared at his chambers with it.
However, they were met by the
king’s doctor who told them that the king’s condition had further weakened and
that they must summarize the book into a single chapter. This they did, and the
next week went back to the palace.
They were ushered into the king’s
chambers, and with a fragile voice he commanded, begged them, to take the
chapter and present it to him on a single page; so they rushed out into the
antechamber to do this. A few hours later they were back with the one page, but
the king was already on the verge of death, so the wisest of all the wisepeople
stepped up to the king because it had occurred to her how to express the entire
page into a single sentence.
As the neared the king she saw his
eyes flicker and knew that she had time for only a single word, so she made her
choice and opened her lips to speak. At that moment, however, she perceived
that the king was already dead and would not benefit at all from what she had
to say. So she withdrew in silence, and she and the rest of the wisepeople went
their separate ways since they were all substituted by other wisepeople (who
were schooled in the most modern knowledge) by the new king.
The one word? …It was never
spoken, and never written.
Now this is just a
parable, it hints at the truth but is not truth itself, because a single word
is not enough to express all knowledge. And yet the Big Bang, a single event,
which happened at just one instant billions of years ago is the universal
expression of everything. Indeed, for the parable to be true, the wisewoman
would nave to lean over the king and at that moment express all over again the
primary expression of all that is the Big Bang.
This said, our task is
simple enough, it is to expand the expression of the Big Bang in the direction
opposite from which the wise people in the parable worked. The single kernel of
all truth is already given to us, it is up to us to do the work to understand
it fully and to assimilate it into our lives.
After the Big Bang
occurred it took billions of years before life first appeared on Planet Earth.
A couple of billion or so years later human civilization arose, and on this
time scale it has taken only a tenth of a second for us discover the truth of
the Big Bang. This “tenth of a second” transpired along thousands of years
during which the truth of the Big Bang was beyond our perceptions. Even so, all
true wisdom, all the best religions and philosophies have approximated the
primary truth expressed in the Big Bang.
Now, the Big Bang’s
Pontus Praelix I, the linguistic equivalent of the primary Big Bang, reveals
and expands the expression implicit in the Big Bang to humanity.
Chapter 1: Cosmological
Basis
The Big Bang is the
First Cause, as before it there was nothing at all in our universe, and it is
the first expression, the condensation and explosion of all truth. It is the
touchstone of existence. Our experience in life, in gentle contact with this
touchstone produces the wisdom of all we ever need to know. A parable will
suffice for this.
During the Great Depression, when
vagrants and bums were considered by some people to be nice and esteemed
individuals, there appeared a bum at the door of a housekeeper. His only
request was for a bit of water for his pot so that he could make some “stone
soup” for himself. The housekeeper pleasantly obliged, letting him into her
kitchen. She filled his kettle, expecting him to go after this, but then he
produced the stone from his pocket and offered her a deal: holding the stone up
for her perusal he offered to show her the secret of making soup from a stone,
if only she would allow him the use of her stove.
Curiosity getting the best of her,
she agreed, and when the water was nearly at a boil he dropped the stone into
it and stirred it for a few minutes, while engaging her in the most pleasant
talk. Then he tasted the soup and with the air of a gourmet pronounced that it
needed some salt.
The woman instantly went to her
cupboard for some salt, which was placed into the soup as they chatted some
more. The hobo then suggested that it needed the flavor of an onion, which was
immediately produced. A few potatoes were added for thickening, and then the
soup needed the body provided by some meat.. After that went a carrot, and then
some spices as a finishing touch. After sharing the meal with the lady the bum
went on his way, well fed, his kettle in hand and the stone safely in his
pocket.
That is what we meant
by saying that the Big Bang is our touchstone
by which all truth is known once it is brought into contact with our life’s
experience. As the touchstone of the goldsmith identifies what is gold from
what is not, then the Big Bang is sufficient to separate truth on the one hand
from blindness and misled opinion on the other. It is our ultimate reference
point, the beginning of all things and the all-sufficient expression of truth.
Like the stone in the
parable the Big Bang is a catalyst, there is no end to what it can produce,
either on the cosmological or the conceptual level. We know of its cosmological
production, and now its linguistic production is exploding in this book, the
Book of the Big Bang, which is the final revelation of the Big Bang on the
level of expression.
The Big Bang defined
existence for us; before the Big Bang there was no time, there was no space,
there was not even darkness, since this cannot be known or be said to exist
unless there is also light. There was no matter, no energy, no concept of
beauty which ultimately resides in things of matter and energy. There was
nothing, as we stated, not even darkness, not even emptiness. In fact, strictly
speaking, there was not even nothing, since nothing needs something in order to
be.
Then, at one stroke we
had something, we had nothing, we had light, which created darkness. We had a
finite but really huge quantity of energy, which in the first fraction of a
second began coalescing into matter. We had the ultimate touchstone. We had the
definition of life, which exists for a time, is something, and then becomes
nothing. We had the reflection of ourselves, who come from nothing to be
something.
We also find our
energy, our salvation, all the power that we need in life through a harmony
with the concentrated power of this one unsurpassable concentration of energy.
Whatever problem you have, it is solved when you allow the expression of the
Big Bang to be expressed through you, though your actions and your being. This
Book makes the way for you, in its sentences you find the solution to all
life’s problems as well as the reflection of all life’s victories. As the
linguistic revelation of that Great Expression, it, like the Great Expression
itself, is perfectly complete.
The Big Bang occurred
on two planes. On the physical plane it is the Creator of all matter and energy
and the First Cause of all events. On the second plane it is the primary
expression, the ultimate summary of all truth, the touchstone to our
experience. It gave the definition of existence, and thereby, that of
nonexistence. On the plane of expression it has lied in wait, for its conscious
discovery, and is ready to begin its explosion linguistically and conceptually.
These pages are the detonation of that explosion, which will spread through
minds, gathering force. It is an explosion that requires financial assistance
