1. A research project on the place and nature of spiritual direction among 15 to 25 year olds. In this paper I develop a theology of youth ministry that welcomes a spiritual direction approach. I go on to use both human development theory and faith development theory to show how important such an approach is. Lastly I use information from a questionairre given to spiriutal directors to indicate what spiritual direction among young people might look like compared to how it is usually offered.

2. An exploration of  how human develpment research and theory informs youth ministry at three levels. We explore how this theory provides guidance for running good programmes that both catch the young person's attendtion and encourages them to invite their friends along. Secondly it helps us know that what we do is of importance particulalry in helping young people answer the big questions, "Who am I?" Thirdly this theory and research invites us to have a much bigger appreciation of what ministry among young people might involve.

3. The case for taking faith development theory very seriously, and placing it at the centre of any developmental approach to counselling, and in spiritual direction. Faith Development will be described using Fowler (1981), 1996) and Parks (2000) and is used to help describe problematic faith development. I go on to discuss how faith development theory both differs from spiritual development approach, and how it helps counsellors and spiritual directors to assist those we work with through difficult trainsistions in their "faithing".

4. An exploration of how the theology and spirituality of Dame Julian of Norwich helps Spiritual Drectors in our work.

5. A series of Lenten Meditations based on the writings of Saint Augustine of Hippo's "The Trinity" It includes a short introduction for each day, and short passage from "On the Trinity" and a process to read/pary with it.
